For more than 25 years, Tim has held senior-level positions in both private and public sector organisations, both large and small, that required the strategic delivery of business growth plans to achieve the commercial objectives. These experiences have given Tim a broad set of skills that enable him to look creatively at a business from a strategic perspective and to successfully deliver solutions that maximise a business’s potential for growth.

He co-founded Hampshire’s first Apprenticeship Training Agency, a social enterprise with a mission to both increase the number of job opportunities available to young people and to support the economic growth of local businesses.

Career highlights:

• Regional Director at a portfolio HR Director consultancy business working with SMEs across the south of England. His purpose was to help business owners achieve their goals by developing people strategies to help their business to transform and grow by harnessing the power of people.
• Director of Training and Business Development at Vistage UK, subsidiary of Vistage Worldwide, a PE-backed global leadership organisation. Responsible for supporting the development and implementation of global and local strategies to drive the overall growth of the UK business, including leading a team of Business Development Partners, sales coaching and guiding former CEOs to become Vistage Chairs.
• Board member and Executive Director at The London Apprenticehsip Company, responsible for overseeing sales and new business development, including key account management of major public and private sector clients, developing and implementing the company’s marketing and digital media strategy. LAC’s goal, as a social enterprise, was to create new employment and training opportunities for young Londoners.
• Management of a leading Hampshire FE College’s Adult Skills and Apprenticeship training programmes across two campuses, financial and contractual management of the college’s Employer Responsive funding allocation with Skills Funding Agency, quality assurance, training needs analysis and delivery of bespoke training programmes for local and regional SMEs.
