He specialises in the delivery of FCA compliant credit and business risk models along with the associated portfolio management and business M.I. frameworks.

Most recently he worked with Starling Bank across the FCA licensing and launch phases of the newly established start-up bank.

Experienced at working with traditional and new lending products and delivering them in the ever-increasing Digital Fintech landscape. Both with funding orientated and award winning businesses alike.

Expert understanding of the FCA regulatory environment, including Affordability and Customer Vulnerability along with the expectations and opportunities in the post COVID landscape.

Detailed understanding of the FCA Licensing requirements for new business start-ups and of developing the necessary Policies, Processes and Procedures.

Hands-on experience of new business start-ups from writing business plans, seeking investment, gaining regulatory approval and of actually starting the business with everything from people to premises.

Downside knowledge having experienced firsthand a number of financial downturns and recessions since 1987 Black Monday stock market crash.
